This page is to give some guidance for account holders both Judges and Clubs on using the websitePlease note that there is now a Judge Demo account where you can view dummy records and reports using the guidelines below for actual registered accounts.
To view please go to the Judge Login at the top of the page and in the Email box type in demo@dog-showing.com and in the Password box type in password (lower case)
For Judges
Setting up and using recordsOnce your completed registration has been accepted you will be able to use your email and password that you provided to logon to your account using the Judge Login button at the top right of the screen. This will open up the 'Your Judging Account Screen' and you will see a menu on the right hand side from which you can select various options.
Menu Options
1. Modify My DetailsHere you can change your contact details including you email address and password to save any changes click the update button at the bottom of the page.
2. Add Judging List Detail
This page allows you to add which judging list you are currently on for each breed where eg A1 = awards challenge certificates, BBS = B List breed specialist, A3NS = A3 List non-breed specialist.
The details added on this page will allow other judges and club secretaries to see which judging list you are currently on for specific breeds, also when you have added your judging records it will make available the number of dogs judged and date when last judged for each breed against each breed judging list.
- First select breed group from drop down list
- Then select breed from breed drop down list for that group
- Then select which judging list you are on
- Finally click on the save button
- Repeat for each breed
This gives you a view of all the judging lists that you have entered.
The only options here are to either delete a record ie if incorrect or have been superseded by another listing and the ability to print this list for yourself if required.
To delete click on the delete button under the 'action' column for each entry you wish to delete.
4. Add Championship Show Approvals
Where a judge is approved by the Kennel Club to award either BIS and/or groups at Championship Shows these can be entered here. Simply check the appropriate boxes and click the save button, to ammend in future just either uncheck or check further boxes as required and click save.
5. Setup Judging Records
This is where you set up your shows and breeds judged so that you can enter your results.
- Select show name from drop down list
- Select show type from drop down list (please read note regarding breeds with and without CC's at championship shows)
- Select show date and scroll to breeds which are in group order
- Select breed/breeds judged at this show by clicking in the appropriate checkbox(s) Note: Group judging, BIS etc are located at the bottom of the page under Other
- Then either click on one of the Setup Record buttons or press enter
- Repeat the process for each show
This page lists all the shows that you have setup in descending date order with the most recent first.
- Select show required to add/change results by clicking on the Add/Update button
- For each breed enter No.Classes, No.Entries (this is the total number of entries including repeats), No.Dogs (this is the actual number of dogs ie actual exhibits) and the No.Absentees.
- Then click on the Save button next to that breed, this will automatically calculate the Dogs judged and the record will disappear from view
- To add further results to that show or another or to correct an entry click the Enter Judging Results from the menu again select the show and repeat as above for each breed until complete. You can at any time change the numbers by overtyping and saving if you have made an error. Equally if you have put a breed in by mistake you can delete it by clicking the X next to that particular breed.
- To enter additional breeds to a show you have already saved then select the breed from the bottom of the form drop down and enter your results as before but now click the Add button and this will add it to the list.
- When entering results for each breed you can enter some comments in the box under the results for that breed eg you may have only judged one sex so you could put 'bitches only' or the Name of CC winner for instance.
This will give you a report of your records summarised by Group.
- Select Group from drop down list
- Click on Print button (opens a new window)
This page can be printed as a hard copy by clicking on the Print This Page button at the bottom of the report.
8. Breed Report
This will give you a report of your records summarised by breed.
- Select breed from drop down list
- Click on Print button (opens a new window)
This page can be printed as a hard copy by clicking on the Print This Page button at the bottom of the report.
9. Full Breed Report
This page will give you a complete report of all your judging records along with grand totals.
Again this page can be printed as a hard copy by clicking on the Print This Page button at the bottom of the report but please note it may be very many pages long.
10. Showtype Report
This is similar to the Full Breed Report but allows you to look at results by show type.
- Select Show Type from drop down list
- Click on Print button (opens a new window)

11. Post Messages
This can be used for your CV profile information or general messages about yourself. This will be displayed on the Judges page against your name and then can be viewed by any other judge or by any club that has an account on this website.
For Clubs

1. Edit My DetailsHere you can change your email address and password to save any changes click the update button at the bottom of the page.
2. Add Dog Club
This page allows you to add you club details to the database including a link to your own website if your club has one. You can also add some information about your club in the club information box which will then be displayed on your club page as well as to which breed(s) your club is involved with by selecting the breed(s) from the various group lists. When you have completed all the information click on the 'Add Club' button at the bottom of the page.
3. Post Notice
This can be used for general information or general messages about your club. This will be displayed on the main home page.
Menu Options (Left hand side)
After selecting any of the option buttons below to return to the your main account page click on 'My Account home' in the right hand menu options.1. Edit Club
This page allows you to edit all your club details such as contact name, address etc and allows you to add or delete further breeds associated with this club.
2. Preview
This page allows you to preview your club page, note that on this page there is an opportunity to display the numerical data for your club's judging criteria so that any potential judge can see at a glance what the main requirements are, for full details they can then contact your club by email, phone etc or through the link to your website if available.
NB: this criteria data is added by dog-showing.com from the data you supply either directly or from data in the public domain. Please ensure that it is up to date.
3. Upload Photo
From this page you can upload a photo if you require which will be added at the top of your club page (image should be in jpeg format and be approx 338 pixels wide by 225 pixels high).
4. Post Notice
This can be used for general information or general messages about your club. This will be displayed on the Club page.
